Cheryl Grace was born in Newman, California, a small town of 2800 people and raised by loving parents, Gilbert and Elsie George.  They were determined to send their only child to college and upon Cheryl’s high school graduation, she departed from her childhood home to pursue a college degree at Fresno State University in Fresno, California.

An accomplished gymnast and all-around athlete, Cheryl majored in Physical Education and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, a California teaching credential, and eventually a Masters Degree in Secondary Education from the University of San Francisco.

After several years as high school physical education teacher and gymnastic coach in California, Cheryl became a Federation of International Gymnastics internationally rated gymnastics judge, one of only 33 in the U.S.  She traveled worldwide, representing USA gymnastics as an Olympic level judge.

As the rise of Olympic gymnastics came to a frenzy of popularity with Nadia Comaneci and the Romanian Gymnastics team, a multi-city tour of the USA Gymnastics Team and the Romanian Gymnastics Team was born. Cheryl was selected to be the Tour Manager. At the end of the two-week tour, history was made with the defection of Bela and Marta Karolyi, the world-renowned coaches of Nadia Comaneci which prompted an international spectacle and changed the course of Cheryl’s life.

Cheryl spent the next several years as a corporate executive for USA Gymnastics located in Indianapolis, Indiana, and once again traveled worldwide with the USA Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 1991, ESPN sports network, based in Bristol, Connecticut, recruited Cheryl to work for ESPN as an Acquisitions Director, for the projected launch of ESPN2. After working at ESPN for 15 years as a senior executive in Remote Production and HDTV, Cheryl left ESPN to pursue a new career as a professional Feng Shui practitioner.

Cheryl is now a Hay House author of Feng Shui Simply: Change Your Life from the Inside Out, professional feng shui design consultant, motivational speaker, and teacher who specializes in helping people design their lives from the inside out. As an expert practitioner, Cheryl’s desire is to help people reach their full potential by living an inspired and purpose-driven life.

In 2015, after years of hearing “South Africa calls,” in her head, Cheryl traveled to South Africa for appearances and book signing with her publisher, Hay House South Africa, and to tour the beauty and historical relevance of South Africa.  A Sarasota based travel agency suggested Three Tree Hill Lodge in the Drakensburg Mountains, and once she arrived, was mesmerized by hospitality of the owners, Cheryl and Simon Blackburn, and the breathtaking beauty of the area.

Cheryl Blackburn arranged for a tour of the Royal Natal Amphitheater and Sans Rock Art and was changed forever by the passion and determination of theartful guide, Elijah Mbonane. The Legacy of Grace was born on 31.08.15.
